Community to Recognize Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with Celebration Luncheon
Minister Roylin Petties Slated as Guest Speaker
(East Liverpool, OH) - River Valley Organizing and the NAACP of East Liverpool and Wellsville will host a free Celebration Luncheon for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 17, 2022 at noon at the First Baptist Church in Wellsville.
“We’re very excited for our community to come together to honor the achievements, dreams, life, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” said event organizer Daniel Winston.
The event will feature Guest Speaker Minister Roylin Petties. Minister Petties is Vice President of the Beaver County Branch of the NAACP and a Former Midland City Council Member. A lunch will be provided afterwards by The Faithful Flour Catering.

“Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a model of how one person can change the world,” said Winston, “I hope that everyone will be inspired to take that mindset of community service into their upcoming year.”
